Echoes of The Deep
Echoes of the Deep is an evocative exhibition showcasing the responses of 24 BA Fine Art, Level 5 students from Arts University Bournemouth, who explore the theme of water through a diverse range of multimedia artworks. From sculptures and paintings to photography, the artists delve into the many ideologies surrounding water, interpreting its transformative, life-giving, and destructive qualities.
ARIDIFICATION
Aridification is two towering columns of dryness, a stark monument to a world without water. This sculpture confronts the fragility of existence in the Anthropocene, embodying drought, desertification, and ecological collapse. It invites viewers to reflect on humanity’s impact and ask: what remains when the last drop is gone?
